Plant Iron Lady Tomatoes away from susceptible tomato varieties. Fruit size is 3-4” in diameter and approximately 5 oz in weight. Determinate plants are 2.5-3’ tall and don’t require trellising. 75 days to maturity. First in a new generation of triple resistant varieties, from our collaboration with Cornell University and North Carolina State University.

Phyllis' notes:

It is impossible to lose an entire field of tomatoes and it happened to me in 2009. The only farmers in Pennsylvania who had tomatoes were those who grew them in High Tunnels. Every other small farmer was wiped out. Will try Iron Lady this year for taste and plant it as a last resort!  Must have a vine ripened tomato!
